The successful, experienced candidate will collaborate with a team of engineers to design, build, and deliver automated test equipment and procedures. This position is multifaceted in that it demands a thorough understanding of circuit analysis, schematic capture, instrumentation, and programming. 
The position is first shift, full time, and permanent. This is a perfect fit for the engineer with a creative spirit who is equally adept in designing hardware and writing software.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Write Test specifications, Statements of Work, and procedures.
  • Design test system hardware including selection of instrumentation.
  • Develop software to control instrumentation and other hardware.
  • Create schematics, block diagrams, BOM, and other documentation.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
  • Manage project scopes and timelines.
  • Identify, assess, and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Participate in peer reviews of projects.
 
Specific Knowledge/Skills
  • Programming knowledge in Labview, C/C#, Python, SQL
  • Good understanding of design for manufacturing and design for test (DFT) requirements
  • Practical experience using lab equipment: oscilloscopes, meters, data acquisition, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, signal generators, etc.
  • Familiarity with In-Circuit and Functional test methodologies.
  • Comfortable with Schematic Capture design 
  • Circuit competency of both analog and digital designs.
  • Able to work independently, self-motivated, and well-organized.
  • Open minded and ever ready to accept challenges.
Basic Requirements
  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Computer Science)
  • 5+ years related experience
