Job description

Salary: Preferrably Union scale

Labor Foreman Earthwork and/or Sewer and Water


This position is responsible for managing day to day operations in the field on specific projects. This position specifically oversees the activities and supervision of crew workers on construction projects not limited to earthwork / site grading, utilities, water, sewer, and more.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure Quality and Safety are being executed
  • Understand and enforce company policies
  • Supervise field forces & subcontractors
  • Attend client meetings and ensure work is in compliance with Contract Documents
  • Coordinate efficient scheduling of crews, equipment, and materials and ensure back-up plans
  • Maintain daily communication with PMs and General Superintendent including daily project reporting and time management
  • Daily reports and production unit reporting
  • Sub-subcontractor management
  • Coordinate job progress and success with PM, General Superintendent.
