Staffing Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staffing schedules for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Registered Nurses (RNs) in accordance with budgeted PPD and staffing requirements.
  • Manage daily staffing operations, including callouts, schedule changes, and replacement staffing.
  • Communicate staffing needs and coordinate coverage with employees, agency staff, and department managers.
  • Monitor attendance, tardiness, overtime, and labor utilizations.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding.
  • Prepare staffing reports and provide labor data to facility leadership.
  • Promote a positive work environment through professional communications and excellent customer service.

Staffing Coordinating Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active Washington NAC license without enforcement action
  • Previous experience working in a LTC setting PREFERRED
  • Ability to speak, understand, read and write in English
