Septic Install Laborer

Location: Rochester, WA
Service Area: Thurston, Mason, and Pierce Counties
Pay: $23 – $28 per hour

About the Role

EnviroTech Septic Solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated Septic Install Laborer to join our Install Team. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work, including trench excavation, pipe installation, equipment operation, and driving duties. The ideal candidate is safe, dependable, and eager to learn, comfortable working in all weather conditions, demonstrates a strong work ethic and excellent attendance, understands trench safety and excavation practices, and is ready to quickly and accurately learn septic system installation techniques.

Safety Note: This is a safety-sensitive position. Employees may operate company vehicles or machinery and are subject to random drug screening.


Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor: digging, lifting, operating tools, grading, and preparing sites
  • Install septic systems: excavate, lay pipes, connect tanks and drain fields per permits and regulations
  • Inspect systems, diagnose issues, and recommend solutions
  • Maintain tools and equipment, reporting repair needs
  • Follow all safety protocols and proper waste handling
  • Communicate with clients, team members, and regulatory authorities
  • Provide clients maintenance guidance to extend system lifespan

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with:
    • 3+ years driving experience (permit time does not count)
    • 3 years: clean driving record
    • 5+ years: acceptable driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools for septic system servicing
  • Physical fitness for manual labor outdoors in all weather conditions
