Job Description: Skilled Laborer - (Well Rounded) Experience: Scaffold Builders, Painter, Iron Workers, Equipment Operating Project duration: June 22, 2024, thru December 2026 Physical Location: 502 Old Summit Bridge Road, Middletown, DE 19709 (Summit Bridge) Job Requirements:
  • Physically Capable (must pass our Work Well screening and Physical)
  • Pass a Drug screening (We work under the Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act)
  • Be able to work on the US Army Corps of Engineers Bridge Jobsite.
  • Flexibility in working hours and ability and willingness to work extended hours
  • Driver's license and reliable means of transportation to/from work
  • Be able to work from heights
Preferred Experience: Fall Protection
  • Scaffold Building
  • Working safely, meeting and/or exceeding OSHA & EM385-1-1 requirements
  • Welding D1.5 and/or D1.1
  • Hot work (grinders, cut-off wheels, torch work, arc gouging.
  • Crane signaling
  • Commercial sandblasting
  • Painting (airless or conventional)
Description: Being a well-rounded worker by having skills in several or all areas listed above. We will run a small crew, requiring all members to be skilled in several aspects of our work. Scaffold building, cutting, fitting, and welding structural steel in ordinance with D1.5, sandblasting, and conventional painting. There are several aspects to any job. We are looking for people who are skilled and are eager to learn more. Duties / Responsibilities
  • Work Safely. Our number one concern is keeping everyone safe.
  • Show up on time every day you are scheduled to work
  • Work the full day that is planned (Be dependable)
  • Removing steel, housekeeping
  • Assisting with moving scaffold components
  • Work with com-a-long, slings, ajax bars, and most common hand tools
  • General power tool operations, grinding steel, preparing steel for installation
  • Working with the other crew members to learn the task at hand and become a team
  • Climbing Scaffolding, wearing fall protection, following EM 385 1-1 safety regulations
