Job description

Job Summary

Performs a variety of manual tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload throughout the facility.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pays attention to detail.
  • Performs general labor such as loading/unloading, lifting, and moving material.
  • Sands, assembles, cuts, glue, and sprays various products.
  • Use of small, powered hand tools may be required.
  • May perform various task to aid in daily tool cage operations.
  • May use saws (table saw, router) benders, hand torch and other power tools.
  • May be trained to act as forklift operator to assist with material movement.
  • Reports any issues (material, tools, supplies, etc.) to supervisor or higher-level employee.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Following instructions based on work instructions.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
  • Ability to work in a variety of roles.
  • Able to work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Previous experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to work in a varying temperature in a warehouse environment.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move up to 50 pounds.
