Job description

Overview

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Landscaping Laborers / Grounds Maintenance Technicians for projects located in  the Orchard Park, NY area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $22/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a General Laborer eager to grow and learn in the trades alongside the best Craft Professionals in the industry, this is your chance to further your career!

Job Scope:         

  •  Perform installation and routine grounds maintenance
    Operate lawn mowers and weed whackers (string trimmers)
    Spreading mulch, topsoil, gravel, and stone
  • Planting shrubs, flowers, and greenery
  • Assist with grading, leveling, and bed preparation
  • Edge beds, trim vegetation, pull weeds, and general property upkeep
  • Use basic hand tools and landscaping equipment
  • Load/unload materials and maintain clean job sites
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience preferred
  • Experience using mowers, weed whackers, blowers, or hedge trimmers
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • Reliable transportation to Orchard Park job sites
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality
  • Steel-toed boots preferred
