Position Overview

We are seeking hardworking Construction Laborers to support a large-scale data center construction project in New Albany, OH. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with construction experience who are interested in the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure within a rapidly growing industry. Previous experience with the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper systems is preferred but not required. We are looking for dependable individuals who can work safely, follow direction, and contribute to a fast-paced environment while learning valuable skills related to the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems throughout a new construction data center
  • Perform cable pulling and routing activities supporting the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper infrastructure
  • Support experienced installers during the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper network pathways
  • Install J-hooks, cable trays, supports, and conduit systems used for the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling
  • Dress, label, secure, and organize fiber and copper cabling according to project requirements
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
  • Move and stage materials required for the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper systems
  • Follow project drawings, installation standards, and direction from supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and jobsite requirements
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a production-driven environment
Required Qualifications
  • 4 to 6 months or more of commercial construction, industrial construction, warehouse construction, electrical helper, low-voltage helper, or general labor experience
  • Experience or interest in the installation of j-hooks, fiber optic cabling, and copper cabling systems
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Experience working on active construction sites
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain consistent productivity
  • Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday
