Role Overview: The Production Laborer supports the manufacturing of aerospace-grade insulation systems used in aircraft and aerospace applications. This position assists in material preparation, fabrication, assembly, and inspection processes while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Cut, trim, and prepare high-performance insulation materials according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Assist in fabrication and assembly of aerospace insulation blankets and components.
  • Operate production equipment such as cutting tables, sewing machines, heat sealers, laminators, and bonding equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Measure materials accurately using rulers, tape measures, and precision tools.
  • Inspect finished products for quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Maintain cleanrooms or controlled-environment standards where required.
  • Package and label completed components per aerospace shipping requirements.
  • Follow all company safety policies, FAA guidelines, and quality management systems (AS9100 standards if applicable).
  • Report material defects, equipment issues, or non-conformances to supervisors.
  • Assist with inventory handling and material staging.
Required Qualifications

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
