Are you an experienced Industrial Construction Project Manager ready to lead complex projects and make a real impact? We're looking for a results-driven professional to join our team and take ownership of large-scale industrial builds from start to finish.
We are seeking an experience Project Manager to lead a key upcoming project. This assignment will include two buildings, with primary responsibility for HVAC, Plumbing, and likely involvement in interior buildout finishes and electrical coordination.
This role requires a strong construction professional who can successfully manage complex building projects in an industrial environment while working closely with project stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, safety focused, technically strong, and an excellent communicator with proven experience managing all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead overall project execution for assigned scope, including HVAC, plumbing, and associated building systems.
  • Manage all phases of the project including planning, budgeting, scheduling, submittals, procurement, execution, turnover, and closeout.
  • Coordinate effectively with the owner, construction manager, design team, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manager all project documentation and reporting in Procure.
  • Lead the full submittal process, including preparation, tracking, review coordination, approval follow-up, and distribution to field and procurement teams.
  • Manage RFIs, change orders, proposal requests, and other document control processes to keep the project moving without delays.
  • Review, update, and manage project schedules, including coordination with P6 master schedules and milestone tracking.
  • Identify long-lead items early and drive procurement, material tracking, and delivery coordination to support the schedule.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC plans and verify installation quality throughout construction.
  • Support and enforce safety requirements and ensure project teams and subcontractors comply with all site expectations.
  • Prepare, review, and manage pay applications, schedule of values, cost reports, forecasts, billing support, and monthly financial reporting.
  • Lead subcontractor buyout, scope review, contract administration, and ongoing subcontractor management.
  • Monitor productivity, staffing, and field performance in coordination with the superintendent and project team.
  • Run project meetings, maintain meeting minutes and action items, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders regarding cost, schedule, quality, safety, and risk.
  • Review plans and specifications for constructability, coordination issues, and scope gaps before they impact the field.
  • Manage permitting, inspections, testing, startup, commissioning support, punch list, completion, owner training, and final closeout documentation.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally in a high-expectation project enviroment.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact project cost, schedule, quality, safety or client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years experience as a Project Manager in commercial, industrial, or large-scale building construction.
  • Proven experience managing HVAC and plumbing scopes on ground-up or major renovation/building projects.
  • Experience working with construction managers, owners, and design teams on complex projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Procure.
  • Experience interpreting and managing project schedules, including coordination with P6 schedules.
  • Experience developing and administering QA/QC plans.
  • Strong understanding of pay applications, project cost controls, forecasting, and financial management.
  • Strong communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, high-accountability project environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Building construction experience with laboratory, technical, or highly coordinated MEP-intensive facilities.
  • Experience managing interior buildout finishes and electrical coordination in addition to core mechanical scopes.
  • Experience with industrial campus expansions, process-related facilities, or mission critical environments.
  • Strong background in subcontractor coordination, procurement planning, and project closeout.

Compensation: $110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
