Job description

Alliance Technical Group is hiring a Lab Intern to join our growing Seattle, WA environmental laboratory team. Assist with laboratory testing and support functions across all sections of the environmental laboratory, including drinking water and other environmental analyses. This role involves sample preparation, routine bench work, documentation, and general laboratory support while following established quality assurance and safety procedures.   

Pay Range

$21.30/ hour

Required Qualifications
  • Assist with laboratory testing across multiple analytical sections
  • Prepare samples, reagents, standards, media, and supplies for analysis
  • Perform routine support tasks following laboratory procedures
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness
  • Document data accurately and assist with recordkeeping
  • Support sample receiving, handling, and workflow as needed
  • Follow laboratory quality control and safety requirements
  • Assist in microbiology, inorganic, and other environmental laboratory areas
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety; prior lab experience preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
Physical Demands
  • Extended periods of sitting; repetitive motions and use of hands.
  • Occasional walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs.), climbing, and kneeling.
  • Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
