Position: Dental Lab Technician - Fixed

Location: Huntsville, AL

Oral Arts is a full-service family owned and operated dental laboratory. We manufacture dental prostheses, such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures, partials, orthodontic appliances, etc. and have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced Model & Die Technician with a strong background in die trimming and model preparation.

Description of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • May perform duties in any of the following areas:
    1. Trim and section dental models to create removable dies with precision.
    2. Expose and preserve preparation margins while maintaining model integrity.
    3. Pin, base, and articulate models according to laboratory standards.
    4. Inspect impressions, digital models, and stone casts for quality and accuracy.
    5. Repair defects and remake models when necessary.
  • Follow and interpret dentist prescriptions accurately
  • Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools, materials, and equipment clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
  • Deliver consistent and reliable work performance.
  • Manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.

Required Experience:

  • 1-2 Years of recent Die trimming experience
  • Skilled in working with small tools and delicate materials to craft dentures with fine detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay/Salary is based on relevant experience.
