Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, performs routine cleaning and maintenance duties in an assigned area within a commercial building, office, or manufacturing setting to ensure the health, safety, and environmental standard for everyone within the facility. This position will regularly engage in cleaning and disinfecting as assigned by the client which will include but not be limited to mopping, sweeping, dusting, laundry, and other cleaning related duties.

POSITION DETAILS: 

SHIFT: 6PM - 10PM

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri

SALARY:20 HR

DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:

The following reflects managements definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  • Responsible for floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets of all office areas and non-production employee lounge.
  • Dusting and disinfect equipment, furniture, and/or fixtures, etc...
  • Responsible for removing trash in office areas and non-production employee lounge.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms daily
  • Cleaning of windows in conference rooms and management offices, etc...
  • Stoking of supplies throughout the office.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

  • Experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions preferred
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, including chemicals, supplies and methods used in office cleaning.
  • At least 1 year of previous janitorial experience preferred
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to understand all safety requirements and cautions
  • Ability to perform the physical labor necessary
