We are looking for a Production Operator to join our Operations team. This position performs a variety of activities related to the operation of equipment used to create products in a manufacturing setting. This includes responsibilities for machine operation, material movement via forklifts, production record-keeping, and production of quality products.

JOB DUTIES
  • Comply with all safety requirements and actively promote a positive safety culture.
  • Maintain equipment uptime and ensure correct yardage, cut widths, and material weights are produced to specification.
  • Perform material changeovers, including adhesive drums, rolls, and splices, in accordance with operating procedures.
  • Complete daily job reports, production orders, and raw material usage logs.
  • Conduct visual and manual quality checks on materials and machinery, including lab checks and defect flagging.
  • Operate forklifts to stage materials and remove used materials for efficient changeovers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and GMP standards by sweeping, organizing tools, and discarding packaging waste.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and address production issues.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic math and computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This position requires the ability to safely perform essential job functions in a manufacturing environment, including:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
  • Regular lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.; pushing/pulling up to 40 lbs.
  • Reaching, repetitive motion, and frequent use of hands/feet for coordination.
  • Frequent head/neck rotation and upper body twisting.
  • Visual acuity to read gauges, documents, and inspect products.
  • Tolerance for high-heat environments (90–110°F) and ability to work in these conditions for extended periods.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • May require working near chemicals or hazardous materials.
  • Consistent exposure to moderate to high noise levels (hearing protection provided).

This position is located within a federally regulated Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ). In accordance with applicable laws, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment.
