Perricone Farms is seeking aย Production Manager for our Beaumont, CAย facility. This is a dynamic role that provides long-term, stable employment along with a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to health, vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401K plan.

Position Summary:

The Production Managerย is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production during assigned shifts. This role involves a combination of planning, coordination, and direct supervision of production processes to meet output, quality, and cost goals. The Production Manager oversees daily production operations, ensures adherence to food safety and safety standards, and provides leadership to drive continuous improvement in people, processes, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment; ensure PPE use and compliance with OSHA, GMPs, SQF, HACCP, Organic, and Non-GMO standards.
  • Conduct safety audits and lead corrective action initiatives.
  • Ensure department participation in all required safety and food safety trainings.
  • Ensure readiness for internal, customer, and third-party audits by maintaining documentation, training records, and corrective action logs

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor supervisors and hourly staff.
  • Assign tasks, oversee shift planning, and support recruitment, training, and performance development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage, coach, and motivate team members; conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
  • Develop cross-training and succession plans to ensure adequate shift coverage and workforce flexibility. โ€ข Promote positive employee relations, engagement, and retention by fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment.

Operations

  • Oversee the entire production processes across multiple departments within operations to ensure schedules are achieved while producing safe, efficient, high-quality products.
  • Monitor production lines, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as needed to achieve OEE and OKR targets.
  • Ensure quality and yield targets are achieved by monitoring product standards and enforcing quality[1]control measures.
  • Possess working knowledge of production equipment to support first-level troubleshooting and effective communication with Maintenance.
  • Lead response to production, safety, or quality incidents during the shift, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Inventory Control

  • Ensure transactional integrity through the accurate issuing of juice and packaging ingredients by lot as well as production completions for product output through NetSuite and RFSmart.
  • Resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory.
  • Coordinate movement of materials through the production process.

ERP/WMS System Utilization

  • Use NetSuite ERP and RFSmart WMS for real-time ingredients and packaging inventory tracking and production documentation.
  • Ensure accurate, real-time data entry and reporting.
  • Leverage systems for reporting OKRs and labor productivity.
  • Analyze production and labor data to identify trends, improve decision-making, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Communication & Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between operations, QA, Planning, Customer Service, and Shipping teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and respond to escalations.
  • Communicate priorities and changes across shifts effectively.
  • Ensure production errors are reported / updated on the plant report card.
  • Ensure timely submission of production records, attendance logs, incident reports, and compliance documentation

Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies across all departments managed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization.
  • Reduce costs through optimized labor and production management

Food Safety Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all food safety and quality standards (FDA, SQF, GMP, Non-GMO, HACCP, Organic).
  • Participate in safety and food safety system reviews and audits.
  • Assist in the implementation and verification of the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelorโ€™s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in operations; 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Experience in food/beverage preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of production process, scheduling, and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with Leam manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • ERP/WMS experience required (NetSuite and RFSmart preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, stand, lift (50 lbs+), bend, and operate equipment throughout an 8โ€“10-hour shift.
  • Tolerance to cold environments and ability to work in noisy, refrigerated areas.
  • Required use of RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks, and PPE

Work Environment

  • Both Hot and Cold environments from operations through the refrigerated warehouse.
  • Environment; exposure to noise and machinery.
  • Moderate risk conditions: safety protocols strictly enforced.
