Job description

As a Production Designer at Trove Brands, you'll play a vital role in bringing our product designs to life. Working closely with our Art Directors, Brand Managers, Designers, and Sales Team, you will be responsible for creating and managing production templates for product designs, packaging, and labels for Owala brand. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with creative and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support our in-house Graphic Design, Marketing, and Sales teams by executing production work withย accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of typography, Color Management - understanding of CMYK, spot colorsย (Pantone), and print proofing and composition.
  • File Preparation & Dielines: Ability to create and adjust dielines, set up correct layers, bleeds, andย overprints for various products, packaging, and labels. Creating product renders in Illustrator orย photoshop.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet Owala's high standards for quality, speed, and brand authenticity.
  • Manage the end-to-end production of product assets for factories, including packaging and labeling.
  • Develop and implement workflows, tools, and systems to optimize efficiency and consistency inย production processes.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Operations teams to align on schedules,ย priorities, and deliverables.
  • Organize and maintain asset libraries to ensure files are accessible and archived for future use.
  • Ensure smooth operations while meeting budget and timeline expectations.

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a production design role, preferably in print or e-commerce production.
  • Experience in consumer goods, food & beverage, or outdoor/sports industry packaging is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma is a plus.
  • Ability to manage and optimize production workflows while maintaining top-tier quality standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ensuring accuracy in file setup, proofing, andย revisions to avoid costly errors.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve challenges throughout the production process.
  • Experience converting existing product packaging into multiple languages for international markets.
  • Label & Packaging Compliance: Familiarity with legal requirements (barcodes, safety symbols).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with managing multi-layer files, color specifications, and production-related tasks such asย clipping, cropping, and resizing images.
