Job description

Position Overview:
Zilka & Company is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Receiving & Warehouse Clerical Associate to support our receiving and warehouse operations. This is primarily a clerical and administrative position responsible for maintaining accurate receiving information, creating product labels, entering information into the computer system, reviewing paperwork, and assisting with inventory documentation.
The ideal candidate will be organized, accurate, comfortable working with computers, and able to communicate effectively with warehouse and office personnel. This position plays an important role in maintaining accurate inventory records, product traceability, and food safety documentation.

 Primary Responsibilities:
  • Receive and check incoming products for accuracy.
  • Verify product quantities, item numbers, lot information, and paperwork.
  • Create, print, and apply receiving and product labels.
  • Check products into the inventory system.
  • Review receiving documents and identifying discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory accuracy and product organization.
  • Communicate receiving or labeling issues to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Work with warehouse and office personnel to resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate receiving and labeling records.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow company food safety, GMP, and warehouse procedure

Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to learn inventory and labeling systems.
  • Dependable and organized.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience is helpful.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for portions of the workday.
  • Ability to bend, reach, and move products as necessary.
