Job Description

Description:

Respond to, resolve and close end-user IT service requests based on published procedures and policies.

Install, configure and test approved licensed software applications.

Configure, test, deploy and support warehouse based end-user technology (e.g., RF guns, mobile terminals, thin client stations, tethered and Bluetooth scanners, label printers. etc.)

Tag all end-user IT assets, active and stored, and maintain inventory documentation.

Support remote users using VPN to access corporate network (such as Regional Directors, District Managers, etc.)

Restore data utilizing NetBackup Enterprise system.

Manage remote devices security software ensuring security policies are enforced.

Function as Back-up to IT Analyst as General Application Security Administrator for Manhattan WMS, Lightning Pick, and Fortna WCSPlus applications.

LAN Administration and Network Security

Assist the Senior Network Engineer with day-to-day administration and support of network switches and 802.11b wireless infrastructure (e.g., VLAN configuration, ReefEdge firewall administration, etc.)

Essential Qualification:

Associate's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience

Required Knowledge:

A minimum of (4) years of experience in information technology.

Skill and Ability:

PC configuration and troubleshooting skills.

Solid written and verbal communications skills.

Strong desire to learn and expand skills.
