Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaching
โ€ข Provide classroom and laboratory instruction in the fields of clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, and blood banking.
โ€ข May teach up to 12 credit hours / semester and up to six credit hours during the summer.
โ€ข Identify student learning outcomes; develop processes and tools for assessment; incorporate results to modify and improve instruction and materials in coordination with colleagues.
Required Education: The minimum qualifications for this faculty position requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Lab Sciences or a related field from a regionally accredited institution. The candidate must possess professional experience working in medical laboratory settings, demonstrating expertise across core disciplines such as clinical chemistry, microbiology, hematology, and blood banking. Essential skills include basic computer literacy and proficiency in utilizing instructional technologies and software to enhance the teaching and learning environment. The ideal candidate must exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively engage and support students from diverse backgrounds, alongside a clear dedication to student success and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
