About this role:
This position is responsible for returns processing activities within the CRM and EP Returns Processing (Post-Market Quality) team at Arden Hills, Minnesota. This position is intended to be focused on returned product decontamination, with opportunities to support additional returned product activities as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Perform returned product decontamination in a lab using medium and high-level disinfectants.
  • Handle and disinfect biohazardous returned products which may contain blood, body fluids, and body tissue.
  • Understand and adhere to general lab safety practices including but limited to; wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following chemical safety, and following lab procedures.
  • Prep and label products to be delivered to the Complaint Investigation Site (CIS) labs for analysis.
  • Manage a large daily volume of returned products while maintaining product traceability and organization.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment utilizing 5S methodologies and participating in regular lab cleanings.
  • Actively interface with other Boston Scientific departments to corroborate special needs or procedure changes for product processing.
  • Support returned product activities such as data entry into the complaint management system, returned product triage, archival, and scrap.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and activities.
  • Communicate within the team and to downstream customers to ensure process fluidity and transparency.

Required qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience with a High School Degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred qualifications:
  • 1 year of relevant experience (decontamination, good laboratory practices, or other post-market experience)
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
