Job description

Clarkson College is currently seeking an Interprofessional Simulation Administrator. This position is responsible for the development and implementation of Interprofessional Simulation programming at Clarkson College. This position coordinates Interprofessional Simulation Center (ISC) usage collaborating with the College and community constituents. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining an Advanced Simulation certification, managing all day-to-day operations of simulation lab and equipment, and developing and implementing simulation activities for students, employees, and external constituents.
This role requires creating a learning environment that is conducive to interprofessional activities across departments and is inclusive of all technologies at the College (i.e., MultiTaction wall, virtual reality, anatomage table, 3D printing, etc.). Close collaboration with the Center of Teaching and Learning, the Professional Development department, and the Registrar are essential.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree from an accredited college in education or health-related fields required.
• Minimum two (2) years of higher education teaching experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years working in a simulation environment or conducting simulation activities required.
• Interprofessional education and collaboration experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, oral, and written communication skills; possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents required.
• Demonstrated capabilities in customer service, project management, and strategic prioritization required.
• Ability to work in a consultative role with a broad range of constituents, including outside vendors, academic departments, interdisciplinary faculty committees, and College staff and leadership required.
• Self-starter and team-builder; able to set clear expectations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of innovative technologies, Excel, Microsoft Office, Survey Monkey, Learning Management Systems, etc. preferred.
• Advanced Simulation certification preferred.
