Job Title: Cath Lab Special Procedure Technologist II

Job Summary
Join our Cardiac & Vascular Lab (CVL) team and assist physicians with diagnostic, interventional, and therapeutic procedures. You'll support patient care by performing scrub, monitor/recorder, and X-ray technologist duties while ensuring patient safety, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with cardiac and vascular procedures by preparing patients, maintaining a sterile field, operating imaging and hemodynamic equipment, and supporting physicians during procedures.
  • Monitor radiation safety, perform equipment quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain required documentation.
  • Recognize cardiac arrhythmias and hemodynamic changes, administer intra-coronary/intra-arterial medications under physician supervision, perform point-of-care testing (ACT, ABG, glucose, oxygen saturation), and provide patient education.
  • Obtain hemostasis after procedures, assist with patient transport, restock supplies, maintain work areas, and participate in on-call coverage with a required 30-minute response time.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 12+ months of recent (within the last 3 years) experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Neuro IR, or Special Procedures.
  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification.
  • Oregon Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License or Washington Certified Radiologic Technologist License.
  • One of the following within 12 months of hire: RCIS, RCES, ARRT (CI), or ARRT (VI).
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale Certification (per hiring timelines).
  • Continuing education to maintain certification.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to independently perform scrub, monitor/recorder, and X-ray technologist duties.
  • Must be able to participate in on-call rotation and arrive onsite within 30 minutes when called.
