Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician | HCA Florida Osceola Hospital Kissimmee, FL
Full-Time | Days (4 × 10-hour shifts/week) | Salary: $24.90 to $33.59/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 | Relocation Assistance: Case by case
Overview
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, a 404-bed Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital affiliated with UCF College of Medicine, is expanding its Electrophysiology (EP) Services and seeking a Cardiac Electrophysiology Technician. This role supports physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and vascular conditions within the Cath/EP Lab.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during EP procedures including:
    • PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement
    • EP device implants and ablations
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and EP devices for procedures
  • Monitor patients and provide support throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedure details
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
  • Graduate of CCAHEP-accredited program
  • 2 years of EP experience with knowledge of EP and ablation devices
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Credentialed as one of the following:
    • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
    • Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech)
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Acute care experience strongly preferred
Preferred:
  • Experience supporting complex EP procedures and ablations
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills in a high-paced lab environment
Department & Facility Details
  • Beds: Hospital-wide, EP Lab caseload as determined by HM
  • FTEs: 2 positions
  • Reporting To: Director of Cardiac Services
  • Interview Process:
    1. Phone screen with recruiter
    2. Onsite or video interview with Department Director and Hospital leadership
    3. Department Manager/Director makes final hiring decision
