Recent advancements in underlying technology have finally made it possible for AI to impact clinical care in a meaningful way. Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.

We are looking for a Process Manager who will work with cross-functional teams to support new assay launches and process improvement projects across our clinical testing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of lab systems and workflows, utilized across the testing pipeline.

  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and help coordinate launch activities for internal tools and clinical tests.

  • Collect and document business and technical needs for software tools and operational procedures.

  • Work closely with engineering and product teams and provide input in the scoping and building of requirements, in support of internal operations and test delivery.

  • Assist in project tracking and status reporting, including timelines, and stakeholder communication.

  • Investigate product and process issues, perform root cause analysis, assess impact of the issue and escalate to leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 3+ years of relevant experience

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to shifting priorities.

  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and integrating new forms of technology with a steep ramp-up period

  • Highly organized and systematic, superb attention to detail and ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy

  • Show initiative and ability to work as part of a high-level team while working independently on mission-critical tasks

Chicago: $55,000-$70,000

The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.
