Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Nursing department on the Gainesville campus. The Simulation and Skills Lab Assistant is an important team member responsible for counting inventory, organizing equipment, and supporting the lab operations. This role helps to create a realistic clinical learning environment for nursing students.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory (counting, stocking, organizing) under supervision.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, manikins, and task trainers.
  • Set up rooms for simulation and skills labs.
  • Provide general support to faculty and staff as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • The student worker is enthusiastic, self-driven, and eager to learn.
  • Guidance will be given, but they are willing to step in where needed.
  • They are also comfortable handling physical tasks such as moving boxes and equipment.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
