Lab Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a dynamic team supporting innovative technologies and customer applications. The ideal candidate is hands-on, scientifically curious, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a larger organization.

As a member of a small technical team, the Lab Technician will support experimental execution, laboratory operations, and day-to-day lab maintenance while ensuring a high standard of scientific rigor, organization, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sensor manufacturing, bacterial counting, and downstream microbiology workflows
  • Operate proprietary laboratory equipment to conduct experiments supporting customer application development and technical evaluations.
  • Prepare, execute, and document experiments in a biological and chemical laboratory environment.
  • Maintain accurate experimental records and support technical documentation in accordance with internal standards.
  • Perform routine laboratory upkeep, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, organization, and general lab operations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support project objectives and customer timelines.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 3+ years of laboratory experience in a biological, chemical, or related laboratory environment (industry or academic experience considered).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accurate documentation and data integrity.
