Our optical manufactural facility in Plano, TX is growing and expanding!  We're excited to offer new positions and the addition of another shift creates more opportunities at our lab for career growth. 

Position:  We're seeking experienced optical lab technicians to join our team.  

Schedules:  Our evening shifts work 3 days/week with 4 days off.  Perfect for those wanting to restructure non-work hours or minimize commutes.

2A Shift Hours:  Sundays-Tuesdays, 3:30pm - 4:00am

2B Shift Hours:  Wednesdays-Fridays, 3:30pm - 4:00am

Pay & extras:  Base pay DOE, PLUS 10% shift differential pay & extra bi-weekly bonus opportunities.  We also have a generous PTO plan and many other benefits.

Job Description

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Experienced associate, proficient in performing many tasks within or across departments, to achieve production goals in processing job orders through production.  

Operation and monitoring of optical equipment and machinery, quickly identify production issues, resolving errors, observing workflow, proper lens coating and optical standards, locating hot jobs, breakage, assisting Lead with other associates and department issues.  

Candidates should have familiarity with high-volume, optical manufacturing in a fast paced, mass production environment.

  • No specific education required
  • Requires prior optical production experience plus a minimum of one (1) year direct experience in a related role
  • Must be able to read and write English
