Lead Dental Assistant – Full-Time | Sun City, AZ

We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our Sun City team. This is a great opportunity for a confident, skilled dental assistant who enjoys taking ownership, helping a team run efficiently, and being an integral part of delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, clinically strong, and comfortable taking the lead in the operatory while supporting both the dentist and fellow team members. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a lead assistant and provide support during daily clinical operations
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative and cosmetic procedures
  • Ensure excellent patient care and create a comfortable, welcoming experience
  • Help maintain an efficient and organized clinical workflow
  • Train and support team members as needed
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
  • Manage infection control, sterilization, and instrument maintenance
  • Prepare and break down operatories
  • Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene
  • Use digital scanners and assist with digital dentistry workflows
  • Take impressions and assist with lab communication as needed
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of dental assisting experience preferred
  • Arizona Radiology Certification required
  • CPR Certification required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dental environment
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and clinical workflows
  • Dentrix experience preferred
