Job description

Summary:
The Human Performance Lab Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Exercise Science department (academically), the Maryville University Athletics & Rec Department, and the greater Maryville community by coordinating human performance and wellness testing programs. Located in Walker Hall, this position bridges the gap between academics and athletics, working collaboratively with the Exercise Science program.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide clear and expert instruction on using exercise science testing equipment
  2. Assist with scheduling, conducting, and reporting exercise testing. This includes creating report forms for key personnel
  3. Ensure the HPL technology is prepared for each testing session by cleaning, charging, and setting up equipment
  4. Ensure updates are conducted and the equipment is in working order.
  5. Effectively communicate with a diverse range of constituents (coaches, student-athletes, faculty, administrators, etc.) to establish strong relationships and facilitate seamless lab operations
