Job description

JOB SUMMARY
The Cardiovascular Lab Manager performs routine and specialized procedures on patients as prescribed by a physician and directed by department protocol. Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services, utilizes leadership skills to coordinate patient care activities of the department and serve as unit liaison to director, medical staff, and other areas. Delegates responsibilities, facilitates and ensures communication among team members. Employs a mastery function to advise and teach other Associates and evaluate care delivered. Collaborates with the director to facilitate the operational changes to meet the needs of our customers. works collaboratively with the cardiovascular team to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives. Reviews and manages departmental supplies and capital/operational budgets in collaboration with the executive director. Displays effective communication skills along with ensuring compliance of departmental standards
REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of cardiovascular and intervention experience is required, supervisory experienced required.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
