Our headquarters in Vancouver, Canada, spans over 30,000 sq. ft. of state-of-the-art wet lab and office space, serving as a hub for advanced R&D and global logistics. As part of our continued global expansion, we are seeking a motivated Lab & Research Assistant to join our team. This role will support routine immunoassay workflows and laboratory operations in a scientifically collaborative and fast-paced environment with opportunities for hands-on learning and career development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine immunoassays including immunohistochemical (IHC) staining, ELISA, and related laboratory procedures
  • Prepare samples, reagents, buffers, and other materials required for immunoassay workflows
  • Maintain accurate experimental records and assist with data collection and documentation
  • Support daily laboratory operations including inventory organization, equipment maintenance, and general lab upkeep
  • Follow established laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures
  • Collaborate closely with Research Scientists and Lab Managers to support ongoing research and development activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pathology, or a related life science discipline
  • Previous laboratory experience in immunoassays, histology, ELISA, or related techniques is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of immunology, biochemistry, or pathology is preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Compensation

  • Salary CAD $50,000 – $60,000 base, commensurate with education, experience, and industry exposure.
