Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly and energetic Clinic Lab Scientist  to join our clinic. Strong PC and Communication Skills needed.  1 year Clinical Lab experience preferred, with knowledgeable about PCR, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology Concepts. 
 
Responsibilities 

  • Handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests, reporting findings to a laboratory Director.
  • Candidate will be well trained to maintain safety conditions and should be passionate for doing work that makes things move forward. 
  • Responsibilities include receiving and verifying samples, labeling and preparing specimens according to its purpose, updating databases, disposing of waste properly, and examining samples for any contamination
  • The Laboratory Technician works under limited supervision of more experie3nced technical personnel. 
  • Able to do limited independent research of basic principles. 
  • Execute Test defined by Supervisor
  • Report Results in a clear and concise manner as defined by Supervisor
  • Meticulously document data in Laboratory Notebook and written reports. 
  • Follow established test methods, especially PCR and RT_PCR, Sops, and Safe Lab Practices and  Troubleshooting,. Making suggestions when necessary. 
  • Make conclusions and Suggestions for next steps, including identifying any discrepancies in Data. 
  • Appropriately prioritize workload based on input from Supervisor.
  • Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic )_ with accuracy and responsibility.
  • Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree of Science in one of the following:  Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science or Laboratory Science
  • Knowledge about PCR, Microbiology and Molecular Biology Concepts
  • 1 Year Clinical Lab Experience Preferred
  • Good communication skills 
  • High level of organizational skills and PC Skills
