Job description

A Class A Landoll/Lowboy Driver is a CDL Class A truck driver who specializes in transporting heavy equipment, vehicles, and oversized loads using Landoll trailers or lowboy trailers.

Typical Duties
  • Load and secure construction equipment, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy machinery.
  • Operate Landoll and lowboy trailers safely.
  • Perform vehicle and trailer inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT and state regulations.
  • Plan routes for oversized or overweight loads.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and maintain logs.
  • Provide towing and recovery services when required.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Experience with heavy-haul, towing, or equipment transport.
  • Knowledge of load securement procedures.
