❤️ Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Days

Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Days | 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
EMR: Cerner

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-performing cardiac care team on an exciting 13-week travel assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cath Lab professional who is confident working in a fast-paced procedural environment and passionate about supporting exceptional cardiovascular patient care.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other members of the procedural team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

  • Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab, equipment, and sterile field.

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

  • Prepare patients and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available.

  • Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment as appropriate.

  • Maintain strict sterile technique and infection-control standards.

  • Monitor procedural equipment and communicate effectively with the clinical team.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.

  • Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent cardiac cases.

  • Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care throughout procedures.

Schedule & Call Requirements
  • 40 hours per week

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Call: One night per week

  • Weekend Call: Every third weekend

  • Blocked schedules are not available; however, scheduling will be arranged to provide travelers with some extended weekends when possible.

  • Must be available to work the July 4th weekend.

  • Start ASAP — candidates unable to start ASAP should not be submitted.

✅ Requirements
  • 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience

  • CCI – RCIS OR ARRT certification – Required

  • BLS – Required

  • ALS – Required within 90 days of start

  • Strong Cath Lab/interventional cardiac procedure experience

  • Ability to participate in required call rotation

  • Cerner EMR experience preferred/required per facility workflow

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced cardiac procedural environment

  • Must meet all facility and traveler compliance requirements

  • Travelers must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify.

  • Home address must be included with the submission.
