Join a highly skilled cardiovascular team where precision, critical thinking, and teamwork directly impact patient outcomes. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the EP Lab, you will provide direct patient care while using strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and evidence-based practice to support safe and effective cardiac procedures.
You will care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, supporting them throughout their procedural experience. This role includes supervising and coordinating care, assisting with procedure room flow, and providing education and reassurance to patients and families.
Flexibility is essential, including participation in a structured call rotation to support emergent cardiac cases. This is a high call position.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct nursing care in the Cath Lab procedural setting
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures
- Coordinate and supervise patient care throughout the procedural experience
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and families on procedures and recovery
- Participate in call rotation for emergent cardiac cases
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in ICU, ED, PACU, or procedural nursing (Cath Lab preferred)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and teamwork skills
