About the Role
Seeking an Environmental Laboratory Technician to support wastewater and environmental sample analysis in a laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience handling environmental samples, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Pay: $20.00- $25.00 per hour DOEResponsibilities
  • Analyze wastewater and solid samples using standard laboratory procedures.
  • Perform testing including TSS, Fecal Coliform, Ammonia, pH, and BOD.
  • Collect and handle environmental and air samples following chain of custody procedures.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Use microscopes to identify bacteria in wastewater samples.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and data entry in LIMS.
  • Support data validation and standard operating procedure updates.
  • Follow all laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Assist with industrial pretreatment sampling as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field preferred.
  • Experience analyzing environmental samples preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and sample handling procedures preferred.
