Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RT or CVIS certification for a Level III trauma teaching hospital.

Details
  • Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab located on the 1st floor of a Level III trauma teaching hospital
  • 2-bed unit staffed by a 3-person care team
  • Adult and geriatric patient population
  • Common diagnoses/treatments include cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Uses Philips and McKesson-Change Healthcare Hemo/Maquet equipment
  • EHR systems include Paragon (hospital) and McKesson-Change Healthcare (hemodynamics)
  • 4x10 hour day shifts plus standby, scheduled 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Every other weekend on variable on-call basis
  • Call requirement of 7 shifts per 2-week pay period
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience preferred in Cardiac Cath Lab
  • RT or CVIS certification required, or RCIS eligibility for CVIS license in WA
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Associate's degree minimum required
  • Scrub role experience required
  • Monitor role experience preferred
  • AHA certifications required
  • Active license required if applicable
  • Must be adaptable, outgoing, and a strong team player
Additional Information
  • Perform cardiovascular and peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Work under the supervision of the CV Director
  • Green scrubs provided by the facility
  • Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
  • Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
  • Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
