Summer Job Night Shift: Laboratory Sanitation Associate (9-Week Contract)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
Pay: $20.40/hour
Contract Length: 9 Weeks (Summer)
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire (opportunity for permanent placement!)

About the Role

Join a vibrant laboratory team and help drive important research this summer! As a Laboratory Sanitation Associate, you’ll ensure our laboratory remains clean, organized, and running efficiently. Your hands-on work will support scientists and lab analysts by preparing materials, managing glassware, and performing essential sanitation tasks to maintain strict standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare test solutions (media) following detailed procedures (SOPs)
  • Stock and organize glassware and supplies for lab staff in sterile environments
  • Sterilize and maintain laboratory glassware to high standards
  • Support daily operations by ordering supplies, restocking, and pitching in with other tasks as needed
Who We’re Looking For
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (required)
  • Experience: Assembly, production, or fast food experience a plus; shift lead experience highly valued!
  • Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, strong teamwork
  • Character: Honest, reliable, energetic, and proactive—you’re ready to jump in wherever needed!
  • Physical: Able to stand or walk for up to 80% of your shift (desk work 20%)
