Job description

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you'll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.
Minimum Requirements

  • An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
  • State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Experience with Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe.
  • Experience operating Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and treadmills.
  • Experience using glucometer, blood pressure monitors, and pulse oximeters.
  • Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine and participation in on-call rotations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital diagnostic imaging environment and collaborate with stress test nurses.
