Volt is immediately hiring for a Lab Technician III at Henrico, Virginia 23231-4536
As a Lab Technician III, you will:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative lab tests
• Learn and apply new testing methods to support materials science innovation
• Use spreadsheets to compile and analyze data
• Share findings with project requesters
• Collaborate with team members on larger projects
• Safely operate and calibrate lab equipment under supervision
Education/Experience required:
• High School diploma required; Associate degree or technical training preferred
• 0-2+ years of experience in lab testing or manufacturing
• Experience in paper and packaging industry is a plus
• Familiarity with papermaking and paperboard products preferred
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• High degree of mechanical aptitude and technical curiosity
• Comfortable working in lab, pilot plant, and production settings
• Basic computer skills, especially with spreadsheets
Schedule: 1st Shift 8am-4pm or 7am - 3pm
Location - Henrico, Virginia 23231-4536
Payrate Range in Between - $20 - $22/hour
