What You'll Need
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Montana or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC/compact) license required to start the assignment
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
  • Experience with vascular and electrophysiology procedures preferred
  • Experience with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo imaging equipment and Meditech EMR preferred
  • Proficient English language oral and written communication skills
Minimum Requirements โ€” Client Specific
  • MT or Compact nursing license required.
  • ACLS and BLS required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience.
  • Experience or willingness to support Vascular and EP procedures as service line expands.
  • Familiarity with Philips Xray/Xper Hemo systems and Meditech EMR preferred.
  • Flexible availability to cover varied shifts, weekends, and call responsibilities. Call frequency approximately 10โ€“12 days per month.
What You'll Do
  • Provide peri-procedural nursing care in a 2-room Cath/IR/EP/Vascular Lab performing approximately 9 cases per day.
  • Ensure proper performance and maintenance of cath lab equipment and supplies.
  • Assess patient needs and promote a safe surgical environment while circulating and scrubbing for procedures.
  • Support procedures including left and right heart cath/PCI, PM/ICD implants, structural heart, TEE/CV, and various IR procedures such as ports, PICCs, peripheral interventions, ESI, nephrostomy, and G-tubes.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesia, cath lab manager, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Document care accurately and timely according to facility standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to meet unit needs and participate in a three-person call team with mixed scrubs and nurses.
