Job description

We are seeking a Lab Assistant/Storage Inspector for our Product Quality Laboratory in Warden Washington.  

This position is a Part-Time job (up to 29 Hours a week), that could possibly lead into a Full-Time Position.


This position will assist the Lab Manager, and will involve these primary duties:

  • Laboratory set-up
  • Data entry
  • Gathering potato samples
  • Peeling, cutting, frying
  • Analyzing glucose and sucrose
  • Documenting data analysis
  • Cleaning Lab or maintaining a clean work environment 
  • Walking in wet and slippery conditions, bending, and stooping.


Additional Duties as a Storage Inspector:

  • Follow all storage Inspection procedures
  • Follow directives from your Manger and/or General Manager
  • Work with other Agri-Stor personnel and customers in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Operate vehicle and service equipment safely and effectively.
  • Documenting, recording, entering and transcribing information in written or electronic form
  • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to work on your feet the entire work shift
  • Record inspection results clearly and accurately
  • Work with inspection database efficiently and accurately
  • Complete required duties in the expected amount of time without significant errors
