The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.

These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.

These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

LABORATORY - Assisting students in and out of the laboratory, marking laboratory reports, Implementation of Safety Guidelines in the Laboratory

REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must have 1 full year of general chemistry, 1 full year of organic chemistry, CHM 2120/2123, or their equivalents. All those who are not a Chemistry graduate student will be required to write a test to qualify.( Unless already previously done.) Successful completion of WHIMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
