Entry-Level Microbiology Lab Analyst – Salt Lake City, UT
Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123
Schedule Available:
Tuesday - Saturday 9AM-5:30PM 
Pay:
  • $21/hr :Tuesday - Friday, $25/hr: Saturdays
Position Type: Temp (Possible temp to hire) 
Job Summary
Join our premier client in Salt Lake City as an Entry-Level Microbiology Lab Analyst! Perfect for recent graduates or those starting their microbiology careers, this role supports critical lab functions and environmental monitoring tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with prep work for microbiology testing
  • Perform water testing and environmental monitoring in a hooded, benchtop laboratory environment
  • Conduct incubation, membrane filtration, and test preparation
  • Perform colony enumeration
  • Utilize a manifold for sample processing
  • Execute additional duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field
  • Coursework, experience, or demonstrated interest in microbiology
  • 6+ months of production lab experience preferred
  • Must not have allergies to latex or antibiotics
  • Must not be colorblind
  • Able to maintain short nails (no long nails that could puncture gloves
