Job description

Providing laboratory services as assigned in order to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment optimal to the clinical setting at Physician Office Lab. Performs phlebotomy, clerical duties and waived/non-waived laboratory tests for which competency checks are performed annually.

Qualifications: 

Lab Assistant I – HS or GED required, phlebotomy or transcription experience preferred.

Lab Assistant II – HS or GED required and a certified phlebotomist, or AS in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.  

Lab Assistant III – BS required in health related sciences or Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology or Medical Technology.
