Join Our Caring Laboratory Team at Wilson Medical Center!

Do you have a passion for science, accuracy, and helping patients? We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis.

At Wilson Medical Center, we serve patients of all ages in a critical access hospital setting, providing care in our emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient services. You'll be part of a supportive team performing a wide variety of testing in:

  • Blood Banking

  • Hematology

  • Coagulation

  • Serology

  • Urinalysis

  • Molecular Testing

What You'll Do:

  • Perform and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA.

  • Interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge.

  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Control monitoring.

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate laboratory instruments.

  • Perform phlebotomy and specimen processing for patients of all ages.

What We're Looking For:

  • Certified MLS (4-year) or MLT (2-year) through ASCP or equivalent.

  • Applicants with a bachelor's degree working toward certification within one year are encouraged to apply.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.

Hours & Flexibility:

  • PRN/casual shifts with variable start times based on your availability.
