Job description

The Medical Laboratory Assistant will perform specific duties and responsibilities in specimen collection, specimen procurement, specimen processing and laboratory testing (dependent on education). Reports problems and concerns through appropriate channels. Performs other duties as assigned. Assists with training and student instruction.
Medical Lab Assistant I- Graduate of an accredited school with an Associate's Degree in Science or Phlebotomy Certification with Qualifying Certifying Agency
Medical Lab Assistant II- Graduate of an accredited school with a Bachelor's Degree in Science
Medical Lab Assistant III- High School Diploma, Associates or Bachelor's. Must be a Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant through a qualified certification organization, such as ASCP or AMT.
