Job description

Laboratory Job Opportunity

A state-of-the-art, non-profit, short term acute care facility located 1 hour east of Columbus is looking for a permanent Lab Assistant (multiple shifts available). The Lab Assistant will perform, evaluate and submit results on blood and body fluid specimens received for laboratory analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains equipment, troubleshoots instrument performance, and understands quality control requirements related to test analysis
  • Keeps accurate records
  • Provide assistance in areas of phlebotomy, CPA, and telecommunications
  • Maintains knowledge and assists in complying with all regulatory agencies including CAP, HFAP, OSHA, and HIPPA
  • Performs other functions as assigned.
