Job description

Speech Spot LA is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) to join our growing private practice! This is a part-time travel position providing in-home speech and language therapy to pediatric clients throughout East Los Angeles.

Our caseload includes a diverse pediatric population, with a strong emphasis on early language development, pragmatic language and social communication therapy for children and young adults, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. We are looking for a clinician who enjoys collaborating with families and providing individualized, evidence-based care.


Position Details
  • Location: East Los Angeles (travel required)
  • Setting: In-home pediatric therapy
  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
  • Start Date: October 2026
  • Compensation: $80โ€“$100/hour, based on experience
  • Flexible scheduling


Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to pediatric and young adult clients in their homes.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Treat a variety of communication disorders, including expressive/receptive language, speech sound disorders, social-pragmatic communication, and orofacial myofunctional disorders.
  • Educate and collaborate with caregivers to support carryover.
  • Complete documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with families and other professionals involved in each client's care.
  • Manage your schedule independently while maintaining excellent clinical care.


Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active California SLP license.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred.
  • Experience providing pediatric therapy in home or community settings is preferred.
  • Experience providing pragmatic language and social communication therapy for children and/or young adults is strongly preferred.
  • Experience or training in orofacial myofunctional therapy is preferred.
  • PROMPT training (Level 1 or higher) is preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet required health/immunization clearances.
