Compensation & Benefits- Base Salary: $25.00–$35.00/hour — Based on experience and qualifications
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (includes a 30-minute paid lunch)

Job SummaryTake complete ownership of avionics installations, software integrations, and system maintenance across a diverse fleet of general aviation singles, light twins, and corporate jets. Operating within a high-efficiency repair station, this role requires deep FAR knowledge and a quality-first mindset to ensure every aircraft returns to service meeting elite safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive avionics installations from initial blueprint planning through final FAA sign-off
- Conduct scheduled 24-month IFR/VFR inspections and routine electrical maintenance
- Interface with aircraft computer networks to perform critical software and database upgrades
- Ensure total regulatory compliance by strictly following OEM installation manuals and internal repair station protocols
- Evaluate damaged components against service bulletins to determine the safest and most effective repair or replacement strategies
- Maintain meticulous work logs and submit accurate End-of-Day (EOD) reports to shop management
Minimum Requirements- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on professional experience as an avionics technician within general aviation
- Proven technical proficiency with leading avionics platforms, including Garmin, Avidyne, Aspen, and L3
- Strong working knowledge of OEM technical documentation and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Must possess a personal toolbox and a comprehensive set of personal aviation hand tools
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sustain extended periods of kneeling and standing, and safely work in high-noise environments exceeding 85 dB
- Ability to provide professional references for verification prior to placement
Ideal Qualifications- Active FAA Airframe or A&P license (highly desirable)
- Practical, aircraft-specific experience working on Cirrus, Beech, Piper, and Cessna platforms (both turbine and piston variants)
- Broader mechanical background in general aircraft maintenance beyond avionics
